Insider communities on Streets give you exclusive access to special tickets, discounts, content, and a direct connection with your favorite event creators. As a member, you get perks that aren't available to the general public.

Member Benefits
  • Access to insider-only tickets not visible to the public
  • Exclusive discounts (percentage or fixed amount off)
  • Group chat with the creator and other members
  • Exclusive content: links, announcements, YouTube, Spotify
  • Early access to event information and offers

Discovering Insider Communities

You can find insider communities in several ways:

From a Creator's Profile

  1. Visit a creator/curator's profile in the Streets app
  2. If they have an active community with Show on Profile enabled, you'll see it on their page
  3. Tap the community to view details and request membership

Via Direct Link or Invite

Creators can share their community link directly. If you receive an invite link, simply tap it to open the community page and request to join.

From an Event Page

If an event has insider-only tickets, you may see a prompt indicating that certain tickets require insider membership, with a link to join the relevant community.

Tip:

Take time to fill out the intake form thoughtfully. Creators use these responses to decide whether to approve your membership, especially for exclusive communities.

Community Content

Once you're a member, you have access to the full community page with all its content:

Offers

View insider-only events and products with exclusive pricing. These are tickets and items that aren't visible to non-members.

Group Chat

If enabled, participate in group chat with the creator and other members. This is a great place to connect with fellow fans and get updates directly.

Links & Media

Access curated links, embedded YouTube videos, Spotify playlists, and announcements shared exclusively with the community.

Purchasing Insider-Only Tickets

When you're a member of an insider community, you can purchase exclusive tickets:

From the App

  1. Open the event in the Streets app
  2. Go to the ticket selection screen
  3. Insider-only tickets are visible because you're a member
  4. The discounted price is automatically applied at checkout
  5. You'll see the original price crossed out and your insider price
  6. Complete checkout as normal

From the Web

Insider-only tickets are also available on the web event page if you're recognized as a community member. The discount is applied during the Stripe checkout process.

Redemption Limits:

Some insider tickets have a maximum number of redemptions per member. If you've reached your limit, you'll see a message letting you know. The creator sets these limits to ensure fair access for all community members.

Notification Settings

Manage how you receive updates from your insider communities:

  • Configure alert preferences for each community you're a member of
  • Choose to receive push notifications for new offers, announcements, or chat messages
  • Mute communities temporarily if you need a break

Access these settings from within the community page by tapping the settings/gear icon.

Leaving a Community

If you no longer wish to be a member:

  1. Open the insider community page
  2. Tap the settings or overflow menu
  3. Select Leave Community
  4. Confirm your decision
Important:

Leaving a community means you lose access to insider-only tickets and discounts. If the community requires approval, you'll need to reapply if you want to rejoin later.

Troubleshooting

"Maximum redemptions reached"

This means you've used your allotted number of discounted purchases for that ticket. Contact the event organizer if you believe this is an error.

"Minimum total not met"

The insider discount requires a minimum order subtotal. Add more items to your order or purchase a higher-value ticket to meet the threshold.

Can't see insider tickets

  • Verify your membership is active (not pending approval)
  • Make sure you're logged in with the correct account
  • The community may have been deactivated by the creator
  • Try refreshing the event page

Request still pending

If your join request has been pending for a while, the creator may not have reviewed it yet. You can reach out to them directly via their profile or wait for their response.
